Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role is Skyler White on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress for a Drama Series. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward and Jean Ward, she also appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in The Preparatory School before moving with her family in Ohio. She took classes at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of Chicago's theatre for several years, before attempting TV and movie roles. In 1992 Anna got her first major character in the role of Arden in 29 episodes from Down the Shore. In the early 90s she performed as a regular guest on TV and in films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. At the beginning of 2000 she was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was a part in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film and several other films also featured her. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the show Numbered Days, a show comprising four audio plays. The story of Breaking Bad is usually about the relationship of Walter White, his wife Skyler as well as their uneasy relationship. The relationship's strain and its eventual ending are reminiscent of the end of Walter White's story.
